Tropico Interiors
Tropico Interiors is a small design studio that is dedicated to creating spaces that express confidence and plafulness.
The brief was to design an office space that reflects this and to evoke the same excitement one feels when on holiday.
Located in The Connection in Rhodes, the site provides endless outdoor areas and a beautiful waterfront view for the designers to enjoy.
In the spirit of holiday bliss, the reception desk doubles as a mini bar for Friday night drinks where the team, clients and supplier are all invited to join and celebrate their work.
The lounge is a relaxed and welcoming space, its purpose is for guests and clients to wait as well as for the designer to relax in.
The area blends into the meeting area, seperated only by a sheer curtain, should privacy be needed.
The aim was to blend the indoor with the outdoor without exposing the space to the elements. Drawing inspiration from vertical terraniums, a life-size terranium was put into the centre of the space, so nwhichever direction one were to look, they would be met with lush greenery.
The designers work desks are facing the waterfront for the team to look out into the endless open space and allow their eyes to relax from the screens.
The space acts as an oasis in which the designers can draw inspiration and energy from and truly do their best work.
A pink and green palette brings a certain fun youthfulness to the space, with tropical wallpaper and neon light bringing the space to life.
The bright greenery and heaxgon floor tiles add texture and dimension to the dynamic space.
